Usual is redefining protocol incentivization with Brevis-powered Continuous Protocol Incentivization.
What We Built Together
Since November 2024, Usual and Brevis have pioneered a new model for token distribution that replaces one-time airdrops with ongoing rewards for genuine ecosystem participation.
Continuous Protocol Incentivization (CPI) distributes $USUAL tokens daily based on users’ actual engagement with USD0 and USD0++ across multiple DeFi platforms. Hold USD0++, provide liquidity on Curve, participate in Pendle markets, deposit in Morpho, Origami, Level, Penpie, or Equilibria—all activities earn continuous rewards verified by zero-knowledge proofs.
The ZK Data Coprocessor tracks time-weighted balances across all integrated protocols, calculates reward amounts off-chain, generates cryptographic proofs verifying the data and computations, then enables trustless claiming on-chain. No centralized tracking, no opaque rules, no surprise mechanics.
Recent expansion to TAC Mainnet launched a campaign rewarding users who bridge and deposit USD0++ on the newly deployed EVM layer for Telegram. Users earn rewards for holding USD0++, depositing into vaults, and providing liquidity on Curve—all powered by Incentra’s trustless infrastructure.
The numbers:
- 43,831,694 proofs generated
- 9,305 unique addresses
- 51,662 app requests processed
- $300M+ in annual rewards managed
This is production infrastructure managing some of the largest trustless incentive programs in DeFi.
Why It Matters
Traditional airdrops reward past behavior and create farm-sell-leave cycles. Usual’s CPI model with Brevis rewards ongoing participation, aligning incentives for sustainable growth.
The architecture solves technical constraints that made continuous distribution impossible before. Computing time-weighted positions across multiple protocols on-chain would cost thousands in gas fees. Brevis handles this off-chain where it’s cheap and fast, then proves accuracy with zero-knowledge cryptography.
When Field Operations launches November 3rd, you’ll earn Brevis Sparks by interacting with Usual’s USD0 and USD0++ ecosystem. Full details on tasks and Spark allocations drop when Phase 2 goes live.
